Cookie Policy

What we use
This policy describes the cookies and similar storage actually used by the current Sparkr application. Categories that are not used are listed so the Cookie Preferences match this page.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site and product to work:
- Session cookies used by the Rails application to keep a visit working.
- Authentication cookies used by Devise when a customer or administrator signs in, including a remember-me cookie if that option is used.
- Security tokens used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery.
These cookies are always on. The site cannot operate signed-in workspaces without them.
Functional
If you acknowledge the cookie notice, Sparkr stores that choice in your browser’s local storage so the banner does not keep appearing. That preference is not used for advertising.
Analytics
Website layouts load Umami Cloud to count page views. Umami does not set advertising cookies and is not used to identify you across other websites. In production, those layouts also load Microsoft Clarity, which may set a cookie and record clicks, scrolls, and page visits. The application does not load Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar.
Advertising / marketing
In production, the marketing site loads a Google Ads tag and a Meta Pixel on each page. A Google Ads conversion and a Meta Lead event are sent when a demo or enterprise form is saved. Google and Meta may set a cookie when someone arrives from an ad. The site does not load HubSpot tracking scripts.
Third-party requests
The public marketing pages load the Instrument Sans font from Google Fonts and the advertising tags described above. Website layouts send anonymized page-view counts to Umami Cloud and, in production, usage data to Microsoft Clarity. Signed-in product and checkout flows may also call payment or shipping providers when you use those features.
Managing preferences
Use Cookie Preferences in the footer to review categories. In production, Microsoft Clarity loads on website pages, and the Google Ads tag and Meta Pixel load on marketing pages.
Changes
If Sparkr later adds marketing pixels or cookie-based analytics, this policy and the preference categories will be updated before those scripts are treated as in use.
Contact
Questions about this page can be sent through the demo form until a dedicated legal contact is published.
